I am a 27-year-old with the body of an 87-year-old. I was born with a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS - I have the vascular type), which causes me to have a ridiculous number of severe medical problems.
Because of said medical problems, I am practically a professional patient. I deal with doctors, insurance companies, pharmacies, and so-called "medical professionals" constantly.
I am That Patient, the patient who speaks up, who gets loud, and who doesn't take shit from anyone! For this reason, I have been called a "bad patient."
This "bad patient" believes that there is no such thing as too many painkillers or a doctor who is too compassionate.
If being a "bad patient" is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
